Advisory Board
The EFDA is an independent Authority which operates within the framework of the Executive Agencies Proclamation No. 1263/2021. The Advisory Board was established under this Regulation No. 531/2023 article 6 (1). The members of the board including the chairman are appointed by the Minister of the Ministry of Health. The main role of the advisory board is to advise the Minister and EFDA Director General on strategic and operational matters of EFDA.
The Chairman and other Members of the Board serve for a tenure of four years and only two members of the board are eligible for re-appointment. Currently, there are eleven members who have been appointed and the Director General of EFDA serves as the Secretary to the advisory board.
