The effectiveness of drug distribution, monitoring, and delivery to the user must be improved, according to a statement from the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority.
To enable the authority office to implement the drug distribution and monitoring from the manufacturers to the user, training was provided to experts from the authority office.
The training was held in Adama City from March 7–9, 2023, and Solomon Amde, the authority’s director of human resource management, who attended it, stated that the authority has a large vision to become an African Center of excellence for food and health product control. He claimed that it is doing information-based control works and capacity building works by updating various technologies that enable him to achieve his vision.
The training covered and extensively explored a number of subjects that can help create awareness for the implementation of drug distribution and monitoring.
